The Manmade Island Paradise

Palm Jumeirah got its name from its Palm Tree shape, consisting of the Trunk, the Crescents, and 16 Fronds (Frond A-P). Palm Jumeirah is a world-renowned, man-made island, and the biggest one in the world, that features luxury residences, upscale hotels, and exclusive leisure facilities. Atlantis The Palm, one of the most visited tourist sites in Dubai is the major highlight of this community. 

The Palm Jumeirah was developed by Nakheel Properties, one of Dubai’s largest property developers, and was completed in 2006. The construction of the island involved dredging sand from the seabed and shaping it into the palm tree design, which was then lined with rocks to prevent erosion. The island is home to some of the most expensive and sought-after properties in Dubai.
